( Lloyd Fox / August 11, 2012 ) Frank Gilliam of Huntington, W.Va., hugs his son, Ian Gilliam after the Plebes were given their leave. Friday, Aug. 10 marks the start of Plebe Parents Weekend at the United States Naval Academy. It is the first opportunity plebes have to spend time with their families since they began Plebe Summer six weeks ago on Induction Day. The Class of 2016 will reunite with their families after noon meal formation. |
