March 28: Extreme classroom makeover

( Amy Davis / March 28, 2012 ) Ellen Vikestad, center, a music teacher at Claremont H.S., has won the Baltimore Teachers Union annual extreme classroom makeover. Vikestad wrote that her crowded room, filled with musical instruments, needs better storage, carpeting and electronic upgrades. Claremont is a small school which serves students ages 14-21 with special needs. |
