Oct. 26: Food drive

( Lloyd Fox, The Baltimore Sun / October 26, 2012 ) Maryland Food Bank hosts 4th annual Elect to End Hunger holiday box packing event. About 300 volunteers attended the event and they expect to pack 13,000 boxes of food. Boxes will be paired with turkeys and distributed to food pantries across the state. This is triple the boxes requested in the first drive in 2008. |
