Ever wanted to go back to college for the day? Don’t miss: 3 top lecturers in Baltimore

"The Deep Blue Sea" (Terence Davies)

You might want to see this film because you’re a big fan of Davies’ lyrical storytelling and masterly eye. You might  want to see it for the strong performances of Rachel Weisz and Tom Hiddleston, as a judge’s wife and a former Royal Air Force pilot having a destructive affair in postwar Britain. Or you might want to see it because John Waters will be introducing the film and talking about it afterward, which is always a treat. (7 p.m. Friday at MICA’s Brown Center, 1301 W. Mount Royal Ave.)
