Tickets to Ravens games are pricey and hard to come by. But here's a tip on how to see Ravens play Monday night: Catch them playing a different game!
Vonta Leach, Ray Rice, Joe Flacco and Michael Oher are just a few Ravens who will be playing in a billiards tournament Monday at Arundel Mills. Tickets to watch are $25.
And there's a chance -- a chance -- that you might have a better pool game than a few of them. It's hard to finesse a stick in those big, meaty, tackling paws.
Leach's foundation is hosting its first Shoot for a Cure Celebrity Billiards Tournament. It benefits the American Breast Cancer Foundation, which helps uninsured people in the area afford screenings and treatment.
A lot of Ravens stars are supposed to be playing. In addition to Leach, Rice, Flacco and Oher, there's Anquan Boldin, Bernard Pollard, Dannell Ellerbe and Jacoby Jones.
The tournament will be officiated by Maryland's chapter of the American Poolplayers Association.
The event will be 7 to 10 p.m. at Dave & Buster's, 7000 Arundel Mills Circle. Tickets to watch the tournament will be available at the door.
And hey, it's Dave & Buster's. If you tire of watching Rice chalk his cue stick, there's always shuffleboard.
