The Orioles have brought back Bill Hall -- to the delight of Baltimore Tweeters.
If the jury is still out on how Hall will perform as an infielder/outfielder, there's no doubt he's a star on Twitter.
The guy is online constantly -- making even a major baseball Tweeter like Adam Jones look like a Tweeting slouch.
"EXCITED EXCITED EXCITED!!!!! Everything always works out!!" Hall Tweeted late last night, apparently about his Orioles comeback.
And then, early this morning: "Wheels up in 10 mins!!!!"
He's back to replacing the injured Nick Markakis. So gentleman Tweeter that he is, Hall addressed that, too, this afternoon with:
"Giving a GET WELL SOON 2 all my injured teammates.Nicky Kaks, Nolan Riemold, Lindstrom, BR and Stu Pommy. N NE1 else I forgot!"
Hall Tweets from @billhall_iii. The "iii" on the end perhaps expresses his exuberance with the medium.
The 32-year-old has more than 12,000 followers. If he stays with the Orioles and keeps up the Twittering, that number is sure to grow.
One of the better parts of Hall's Tweeting is that he regularly interacts with fans. For instance, just minutes ago one fan wrote him on Twitter, saying, "hope you get the call back to the big leagues man."
Hall happily replied: "already did grasshopper."
Here are a couple Tweets from the Best of Bill Hall files:
