She may have missed being at Clooney's side for the recent White House Correspondent's dinner. And she may have missed that state dinner that he attended a few months ago. But, ending speculation (at least for the moment) that the two of them are on the rocks, she wasn't going to miss this.
Guests paid $40,000 each to be there. And those who did, according to reports, included some of Hollywood’s biggest names: Barbra Streisand, her husband James Brolin, Tobey Maguire, Salma Hayek, Robert Downey Jr., Billy Crystal, Eddie Murphy, Herb Alpert and Jack Black.
The event reportedly raised $15 million for Obama's campaign.
The party was inside a tent set up on Clooney's outdoor basketball court at his Studio City, Los Angeles home, which the New York Times called a "Tudor-style manse." (Inside, apparently, hangs a copy of the famous "Hope" Obama campaign poster.)
According to the New York Times, reporters who were allowed a 20-minute peek inside the tent, spied Keibler sitting right next to Clooney -- who of course was seated at the power table right next to the president. The paper said Clooney was rapt by Obama's conversation, "his hands folded as if in prayer and his chin resting on them."
Maguire was at Keibler and Clooney's table, too.
No word yet on what Keibler might have thought of her close encounter with presidential kind.
But earlier in the day she did Tweet: "Big day today :)"
