Joe Flacco can throw.
Ray Rice can run.
But can either of them balance a tray heavy with hot steaks? Or keep a diner's water glass full? Or recommend a wine?
Ravens fans will have a chance to find out Monday, when some of the team's stars will wait tables for charity.
It's for Matt Birk's 3rd annual Celebrity Server Night and will happen at 7 p.m. at Morton's The Steakhouse.
Other Ravens expected to don aprons include Michael McCrary, Spencer Folau, Brad Jackson, Michael Oher, Marshal Yanda, Torrey Smith, Lardarius Webb and Paul Kruger.
We hear that there might also be some last-minute special guest stars.
Here's how organizers describe what will happen. "Instead of being served by your typical servers, imagine Matt Birk and his celebrity guests trying to juggle plates of salads, filet mignon, New York cheesecake and fine wine."
The players will have a lot of chances to drop things. Or is fumble the right word? It's a four-course meal.
Flacco, Rice, Oher and some of the others did it last year, too, so perhaps they've refined their server skills.
Money from the event benefits Birk's HIKE Foundation, which helps at-risk kids manage in school. According to the foundation's website, the event is sold-out, but there is a waiting list. See hikefoundation.org for more details.
Besides the meal, and a chance to mingle with Ravens, there will also be auctions of Ravens stuff and a chance to win trips and other goodies.
