Wiz Khalifa, one of the headline acts for this year's Preakness Infield party, was busted for pot in North Carolina Tuesday -- the second time in a week, just days before his Baltimore appearance.
According to the Winston-Salem Journal, the rapper was arrested for marijuana possession after officers smelled the smoke pouring from his tour bus.
On April 21, police in Nashville found pot in the hotel room of the rapper, whose real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz.
In Winston-Salem, police arrested nearly 20 people, including fans and members of Khalifa's entourage, the Journal reported.
Officials with the Maryland Jockey Club, which runs Preakness, said whatever Khalifa is smoking or not, he'll still be performing at the race on May 19.
"I'm not going to judge this gentleman till he has his day in court," said Tom Chukas, the organization's president. "He's a very very high profile musical acts and we expet him to perform in here on preakness day... Our goal here is to bring a music act that people enjoy. And based on his followers, they do."
Khalifa, however, addressed the arrest -- at least a little -- on Twitter.
"Preciate you comin through to Winston-Salem and Wake Forest, sorry our cops are lames!!" one fan wrote him.
The rapper replied: "they juss did their job."
An hour later, apparently recovered, Khalifa, whose Twitter page is decorated with a picture of himself where he appears to be smoking a joint, added for his more than five million followers: "Share your pot."
His debut album is called "Rolling Papers."
