Joe Flacco mixes with the New York elite -- fashion models and designers

Ravens Quarterback Joe Flacco has already gone to Disney World so why not New York Fashion Week?

Last night, Flacco and his wife Dana attended Tommy Hilfiger’s men’s show on Park Avenue and posed for a few photos with the designer for good measure. Earlier that day, Flacco and Dana appeared on Live with Kelly and Michael.

“I wanted to give my wife the opportunity to be pampered a little bit,” Mr. Flacco told The New York Times. “I wanted her get some outfits and get her makeup done,” he said.

“I’m usually pretty laid back,” he told the Times reporter of his personal style. “Going into a laid-back atmosphere every day for work, it doesn’t require this stuff too often. Just jeans and a nice comfortable shirt.”

Flacco may be star on the football field, but apparently he has a few things to learn before mastering the New York fashion scene. The Times fashion reporter noticed that Flacco was wearing brown shoes with a black tux.

Flacco was also able to rub shoulders with some other celebrities including punk rocker Marky Ramone and Cobra Starship lead singer Gabe Saporta.

"It was pretty cool. It was a lot quicker than I thought it would have been," Flacco told the Associated Press.
