Chef Cindy Wolf confirmed this morning that Craig dined at Charleston last night.
"I love that I can say this -- Daniel Craig ate at my restaurant Charleston last night!" she Tweeted. "Woo hooo! He is James Bond!"
Wolf told Insider the celebrity appearance was particularly cool because she'd just seen Craig's new movie, "Skyfall," the night before.
She brought him out a special dish -- porcini risotto with fresh chanterrelle mushrooms and shaved white truffle.
"It was a gift from me to the table," she said. "He smiled at me -- that was really all I needed."
Overall, Wolf described Craig as quite Bond-like.
"He's obviously a gentlemen," she said. 'He was quite elegant and handsome."
Earlier in the day he lunched at Stone Mill Bakery in Greenspring Station.
Jack Sweeney, who works there, reports, the actor had the turkey avocado powerhouse sandwich and a bottle of water. It was just him eating with another man.
"People were kind of standing back," Sweeney said. "A little staring. But no one really bothered him."
Baltimore should have a special place in the heart of Craig.
It was here in 2005 when he was filming a movie with Nicole Kidman that he found out he would be the next to take on the role of 007.
He ate at Charleston during that trip, too.
