What has three bedrooms, three and a half baths and a whole lot of Baltimore star appeal?
Michael Phelps' Fells Point condo.
And it looks like it could be yours if you've got a spare couple million.
The listing was spotted (with the help of Sun reporter Jamie Smith Hopkins) on the website of chi-chi Realtor Heidi Krauss. (The news was reported in strangely mysterious fashion by The Real Estalker blog earlier this week.)
Phelps name is not mentioned in the listing. But the address is. And according to property records, it's the very Fell Street Michael Phelps bought in October 2007 for $1.69 million.
The listing doesn't mention how much Phelps might want for the condo, part of The Townhomes at the Crescent. But you know the saying, "If you have to ask the price...."
(It was assessed for $1.5 million in 2010, so perhaps one could get a deal.)
By the looks of the pictures, it's a luxurious, modern pad, complete with hardwood, floor-to-ceiling windows, a fireplace and -- of course -- water views. It spreads over more than 4,000 square feet.
The lower-case heavy listing coos: chic fells point contemporary exuding style with fantastic architectural details. floor to ceiling windows and glass-lined water vistas. open living spaces. luxe master suite with spa bath. exquisite roof top lounge offers striking panoramic city and water views. sophisticated, current ambience with total privacy in historic fells point.
And it's got what everyone wants in Fells Point: parking. Two spaces!
