Oh hey Jude, why are you calling?

Baltimore has been the backdrop for so many historic moments -- the writing of the Star-Spangled Banner, Edgar Allan Poe's last bar crawl.

Now, we can add another to the list.

It was here, in 2005, that the love triangle among British actors Daniel Craig, Jude Law and Sienna Miller came to a head.

Craig was in Baltimore to shoot "The Invasion," a forgettable re-working of "The Body Snatchers," when he received an unforgettable call from Law.

Law wanted to know why Craig was hooking up with his then-girlfriend, Sienna Miller.

To make it all the more unsavory, the call was apparently being tapped by staffers from the now-defunct Rupert Murdoch-owned tabloid, "News of the World."

The revelation came during yesterday's testimony in the British phone-hacking scandal.

Law told the court that he and Craig "had known each other for many, many years, so the conversation took all sorts of turns,” the London Evening Standard reports

Law's call was not Craig's only dramatic phone conversation during his stint in Baltimore.

He was at the Whole Foods in Harbor East when he received the call informing him he had been chosen to be the new James Bond, according to the Daily Mail.
