When you're trick-or-treating, there are several factors to to consider — namely, where to rack up the most candy safely and in the least amount of time.
Thankfully, Baltimoreans looking for the best places to trick-or-treat don’t have to go far, according to online real estate database company Zillow.
The website listed Baltimore as the 12th-best place to go trick-or-treating this year.
Though falling behind Philadelphia at No. 1 and three California cities in the top five, Baltimore neighborhoods Patterson Park, Upper Fells Point, Canton, Brewers Hill and Riverside were named as some of the best places to get a Halloween sugar fix. Charm City also beat out nearby Washington, which was ranked 20th.
According to its website, Zillow considered median home value, housing density, age of population and crime in each location to create the the top 20 Trick-or-Treat Index.
Other cities that made the list included Milwaukee, Wis. at No. 4, and Austin, Texas, which came in at No. 16.
