Glimpsed at Santa Claus Anonymous: Sandy Veydt

Sandy Veydt's style is a perfect fit for the holidays. It often has as much sparkle as Veydt, 60, does.

"Anything that sparkles or flashes, that's me," says the GBMC registered nurse. This flashy fashionista from Timonium also doesn't just put together outfits -- she often makes some of the pieces in them.

"I love to sew," she says. "I do well with skirts. I used to make dresses. I don't do that anymore. They're too time-consuming. But, skirts I can pump out in no time...Or I buy [things] and put things on them, like fringe."
<BR><BR>
<B>HER STYLE:</B> "Flashy. I love sparkle. I love flash. I love animal-print anything."
<BR><BR>
<B>WHAT SHE WAS WEARING:</B> Black jersey V-neck crossover body suit she's had for years. Metallic black, gray and white leopard print pencil skirt she made. Wide black stretch belt with crystal-encrusted front from White House/Black Market. Black tights. Her favorite black suede mid-calf Stuart Weitzman boots from Nordstrom. Encircled black lacquer and crystal-embellished zebra striped disc earrings from White House/Black Market. A diamond bracelet she got in Italy stacked with two stretch crystal bracelets from White House/Black Market. A crystal ring she bought in New York. A BAM Bags handbag made completely of zippers, which she bought at BWI airport.
<BR><BR>
<B>WORK VS. PLAY:</B> "I work in a hospital and wear a uniform. So, any time I have the chance to get dressed up and go out, I'm like, 'let me find something cool.' So, I find something fun and funky; anything that nobody else would wear."
<BR><BR>
<B>WHERE SHE SHOPS:</B> White House/Black Market and Nordstrom. She goes online a lot, looking for both clothing and material. "Sometimes, I'll just Google 'animal prints.'"
