Glimpsed at Everyman gala: Laurie Miller

When she's not on the job as an RN in the office of her husband, dermatology surgeon Dr. Stan Miller, or as a Baltimore manners and etiquette instructor, Laurie Miller's style sparkles as much as her personality. The 54-year-old Roland Park resident, who was attending Everyman Theatre's opening gala, is known for her love of bling. "Dresses, jewelry; I'm always out there," she says. And she's always on the lookout. "I shop everywhere. I shop anywhere. If I find something, I just buy it. I don't care about the price. Oops. Did I say that?" she says, with a peal of laughter. But she's not talking about pricey labels and stores. Quite the reverse. HER STYLE: "I'm pretty traditional, but with an edge. I like a pop. At events like this, I'm much more flashy." HER ENSEMBLE: Gold leather and crystal-covered Rampage O-ring strappy sandals from Nordstrom. Vintage rhinestone earrings from a consignment shop in Melbourne Beach, Fla. The crystal dome ring (top left) was a gift. WHAT SHE'S INTO: "I love red. I think red on blondes is stunning. I love the classics: Kate Spade, Calvin Klein. I love Trina Turk. I like American designers." WHAT OTHERS WOULD SAY IS HER SIGNATURE LOOK: "Sexy, and a lot of cleavage." -- Sloane Brown, For The Baltimore Sun
