Scene & Heard at the Chimes Gala

More than 500 guests came to the Marriott Waterfront Baltimore for the Chimes Gala with several things to celebrate. There was the 65th anniversary of the organization, which provides services to the disabled.<br>
<br>
Many folks came to salute the evening's honoree, Bob Wallace, BITH Energy founder/president. Then, there was the evening's entertainment -- <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PECLB00000060506" title="The Temptations (music group)" href="/topic/entertainment/the-temptations-%28music-group%29-PECLB00000060506.topic">the Temptations</a>, <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PECLB00000060501" title="The Pointer Sisters (music group)" href="/topic/entertainment/the-pointer-sisters-%28music-group%29-PECLB00000060501.topic">the Pointer Sisters</a> and <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PECLB0017764576" title="Little Anthony and the Imperials (music group)" href="/topic/entertainment/music/little-anthony-the-imperials-%28music-group%29-PECLB0017764576.topic">Little Anthony and the Imperials</a>.<br>

"[It's] the best talent that some old people like me remember," said Patrick Bagley, Chimes International chair and event co-chair with A.C. George, Chimes Foundation chair.<br>

"I grew up with [the emcee, '60s DJ] Cousin Brucie," said Marty Lampner, Chimes president/CEO.<br>
<br>
"I'm a little young for this, but I remember all of these acts. I was just a kid though.
