Christine Miki, 42, dazzled at the Urban Chic "Revolution" fashion show at the American Visionary Art Museum. The Benelogic president showed off her love of fashion in a crinkled rust Muse sheath from the Boston Proper catalog that featured a spectacular crystal, wood and pearl bead embellished bib. She ramped up her look with a pair of cognac Steve Madden peep-toe pumps with gold studding on the platform and stiletto heels from zappos.com and a pair of antiqued gold and orange crystal bead chandeliers from Le ChâteauCQ in New York City. She found her ombre brown crocodile-patterned patent-leather clutch at the Nine West store, and her leather cuff from the Sundance catalog. She added a couple of stretch metal bead Lia Sophia bangles, a tiger's eye prayer bead bracelet and a ring she had made at Smyth's from diamonds that had been her great-grandmother's, her grandmother's, her grandfather's and her own. "I like classic [style] with a little bit of a twist, or funky with a classic edge. So there's always something unexpected." The Locust Point resident says she often gets style ideas from blogs, like jseverydayfashion.com.
