Kathy Sher's style of "conservative with a little surprise" is a perfect fit with her job as deputy director of external affairs at the National Aquarium of Baltimore. "I really go for an understated look because I'm not comfortable with flash," she says. That doesn't mean the Towson resident doesn't know how to make an outfit pop. She looked the picture of summer chic when we "glimpsed" her going out to grab a sandwich downtown. Sher wore a white cotton/silk blend sleeveless shell she picked up in St. Bart's with off-white summer weight wool pants that have been longtime wardrobe staples. She capped off the two with an orange linen Classiques jacket from Nordstrom, and tan canvas Gucci peep toe flats with horseshoe accents from Neiman Marcus. Her multi-strand gold chain necklace with lock pendant came from Jones & Jones, and her stainless steel bracelet watch was purchased at Amaryllis.
