Glimpsed at Work: Mary Carroll Alderman

Mary Carroll Alderman loves the fashion classics with a twist. "My friends call my style rocker chic," the 48-year-old Ruxton resident said when we glimpsed her inside her store, Essentials By Panache in Green Spring Station. "I have fun with a great pair of jeans, big high shoes and easy top. But you can't beat a Gucci boot or Chanel bag." Alderman matched this Ella Moss sheer tunic with Three Dot leggings, Alexis Bittar bracelet and Anna Beck ring all from Panache. Her Pelle heels came from nearby Matava in Green Spring Station. Alderman said her key to great style was relying on her co-worker, Vanessa Fava Pivec.
