Glimpsed at Ryleigh's: Monica Kitlas
Monica Kitlas, 23, admits "I'm [usually] stuck in black and gray. So one of my friends told me to be more bold' do a color that makes a pop." That's why the Odenton resident added some purple to her ensemble as she went out with friends to Ryleigh's Oyster Bar in Fells Point. Although the Library of Congress executive assistant started with her basic colors, her pieces were far from basic -- a black featherweight cotton Discreet top that featured a keyhole back and flutter sleeves, and a gray tweed Orsay skirt with a lace-trimmed hem, exposed zipper and a wide black elastic waistband. She then added purple textured Orasy tights and a purple bead Orsay necklace with purple crystal embellished silver bow pendant. All three Orsay pieces were gifts from a friend in Germany. Kitlas added black Payless ballet flats, black bead and crystal bangles from H&M, a Brighton bracelet and a silver and crystal big-link bracelet she found at an outlet, crystal dangle earrings from Express and a black leather trimmed gray canvas Rosetti handbag from JC Penney.
