Glimpsed at RA Sushi: Lindy Brown

The Harborplace store Fine Things Under $20 may have just closed, but some of it lives on thanks to its former manager, Lindy Brown. The 24-year-old Pigtown resident used accessories from the shop to ramp up a casual outfit, as she met friends for dinner at RA Sushi. Brown started with a white microfiber H&M tank, a pair of Seven for All Mankind straight-leg jeans she found at Goodwill, a woven gold belt from Aldo and some gold flat sandals from Estillo ShoesC Then she added a purple and gold headscarf, purple and gold crystal sunburst drop earrings and a red crystal and purple enamel gold cuff bracelet -- all from her old store. Her cool yellow leather and cream canvas cross-body satchel came from Laila Rowe. Brown describes her style as "a little outside the box." "I'm not predictable. One day, I'll have a '70s vibe. Another day, I'm more punky. My boyfriend says sometimes I'm borderline tacky because I like to overdo it with sparkly stuff." Colby Ware, Special to The Baltimore Sun
