Glimpsed at the J. McLaughlin cocktail party: Michelle Winner

( Colby Ware, Photo for The Baltimore Sun / December 2, 2012 ) Michelle Winner, 38, was a winner in more than name at the J. McLaughlin cocktail party at the Ritz Carlton. Her style -- which she calls a "mix of contemporary and retro" -was tops, as well. The Port Discovery vice president of marketing -- which was the beneficiary of the event -- wore a charcoal Calvin Klein sweater dress with a loop fringe skirt, that she bought at New York City's Century 21, which she popped with a gray, black and purple gauze scarf from Trillium. She added black tights and faux fur trimmed ankle boots from Target, and a black faux leather bag that was a gift. The Lutherville resident says she's often inspired by past feminine fashions. "If I could've, I would have lived in the `50s¿ she said.¿I love the dresses the women then wore. And I liked Audrey Hepburn's style." |
