Glimpsed in Little Italy: Mary Ann Cricchio

Mary Ann Cricchio, 50, looked beautifully put together as she was busy setting up Little Italy's open-air film festival on a blistering hot Friday night. The owner of Da Mimmo restaurant wore a multi-color jersey Alyn Paige dress that she bought while on vacation in Miami. Her gold and diamond cross pendant was a gift. Her late husband had her nickname bracelet made for her in 1986 at the former Dahne & Weinstein store. She found her brown gladiator wedges at a shoe store in Salerno, Italy, her gold Longines watch at a store in Sicily, and her Gucci sunglasses in Italy, as well. "I get most of my stuff in Italy because that's where I go on vacation, and that's when I can shop." The Little Italy resident likes to invest in a classic wardrobe and add a few trendy items. "It's important to dress age-appropriate. Just because I can fit into a miniskirt from Forever 21 doesn't mean I should wear it."
