Co-chairs Carole Sibel and Sharon Ehasz, MPT Foundation chair Pat Butler, and MPT President/CEO Robert Shuman greeted guests like: Neil Meltzer, Sinai Hospital president, and his wife, Ellen Meltzer, a private tutor; Suzi Cordish, community volunteer; Ted Venetoulis, Corridor Media Inc. chairman/CEO, and his wife, Lynn Morrison Venetoulis, health policy consultant; Chickie Grayson, Enterprise Homes president/CEO; Steve Ziger and Jamie Snead, Ziger/Snead Architects partners; Scott Bass, American University provost; and former CareFirst CEO Bill Jews, and his wife, former Washington school administrator Brenda Jews.
Many of the gala guests spoke of their affection for the evening's honoree - the longtime "face" of MPT, on-air personality Rhea Feikin.
"Rhea just glows," noted Ana Goldseker, certified nutritional counselor, as she and Dr. Sean Berenholtz, Johns Hopkins interventionist, watched Feikin emcee the event's program.
Both Marla Oros, the Mosaic Group president, and her husband, Dave Oros, Global Domain Partners managing partner, remembered watching "Miss Rhea" when they were growing up.
"It's so nice to be here to celebrate her success, as well as MPT's lasting impact on my generation and those that have followed," Marla Oros said.
