River Hill junior 106-pounder Michael Beck, who improved to 27-0 by pinning Owings Mills' Jake Rendelman in the finals of the Franklin Invitational Jan. 19, takes a 30-second Timeout. As a first year varsity wrestler last winter, Beck finished 38-11, losing in overtime in the county finals and failing to place at the state tournament. But he is now the fourth-ranked 106-pounder in the state.
