Visiting Glenelg Country had its heels to the goal line the first eight minutes of Friday's game against conference rival John Carroll.

After a quick Glenelg Country timeout, the Dragons sprung into action and dominated the rest of the game.
Nicole Rieu, who had a standout game, put the Dragons on the scoreboard shortly after the time out. Her goal was unassisted on a shot from the top of the attacking circle
Ellie Mamula added an insurance goal when she tipped in a pass from Hannah Veater in the second half.
Allie Pickens and Amy Keth also had strong plays for the Dragons. Keeper Sarah Bates recorded five saves for her second consecutive shutout of the season.
By game's end, the Dragons held an 18-10 advantage in offensive penalty corners and an 8-5 advantage in shots on goal.
