Still searching for the right combination, Glenelg Country School rearranged its lineup for its IAAM B Conference game against Maryvale Wednesday, Sept. 28. In an effort to boost the offense, the Dragons went to a 4-3-2-1, which resulted in a quick first-half goal by sophomore Hannah Veater off a crosse from sophomore Marissa Burks.

Maryvale responded with two first-half goals and two more in the second half to win, 4-1.

Glenelg Country's Kevyn Jorgenson, Sarah Myers, Nicole Rieu and Amy Keth were strong on defensive corners, breaking up the Maryvale offensive onslaught. Keth and Rieu each recorded a defensive save and keeper Sarah Bates had another testing game, making 22 saves in the loss.

In all, Maryvale had 16 corners.
