Central Maryland Soccer Association is accepting team registration for the fall 2013 season scheduled to begin the weekend of Sept. 7-8. The league is open to all USSF affiliated school, recreation travel and club level teams. CMSA offers separate Saturday and Sunday leagues providing competition for both boys and girls teams in the single age groupings of 8 through 14 and the dual ages of 16 and 18 & Under. Ages 7 through 12 will compete 8v8, with ages 12 through 17 competing 11v11. For more information, go to http://www.cmsasoccer.com.
The Mighty Kicks four-week summer session begins July 23 at 6 p.m. Mighty Kicks soccer is geared toward young players of all ability levels not quite ready for the club atmosphere. The Baltimore Pups soccer program is for ages 2-6 and is designed to build motor skills, self-confidence and basic soccer techniques. An eight-week fall session begins Sept. 7. The Mighty Kicks will also host a Summer Soccer Festival Aug. 3 at Perry Hall High School, with proceeds benefiting Santa Claus Anonymous. The festival will be highlighted by a 3v3 soccer tournament for all ages, skills competitions and demonstrations by vendors.
