A shooting and finishing clinic for boys and girls high school soccer players looking to fine-tune their abilities will be held at the New Goals Baltimore facility from 7-8 p.m. on Thursdays from March 6-April 10. The clinic is being run by Coach Ben Christian (Stevenson University). The cost is $150 a player. Soccer balls are included.
Women's pick-up soccer is being held at the New Goals Baltimore on Sunday nights from 8-10 p.m. It is $10 and women of all abilities are welcome. The facility is located at 6159 Edmondson Ave. in Catonsville.
ASA/USA Softball and Softball Factory will be hosting an open tryout National Identification Program for high school softball players in Bel Air on March 9 at Harford Sports Complex. Players should report to the field for registration by 9 a.m. All softball players ages 13-18 are encouraged to attend. The First Tee of Howard County is holding its annual "Taste for the First Tee" on March 20. The event will be held at Turf Valley's grand ballroom from 6-9 p.m. There will be a live jazz band and food from several of Howard County's fine restaurants.
