The Wilde Lake boys put the finishing touches on an undefeated regular season Thursday, knocking off Oakland Mills, 58-20.

The Wildecats were playing without two senior starters, Tyler Silberberg and David Yancich, but that didn’t stop them from getting by the Scorpions. Rafey Iqbal led the way with 23 points, followed by Nick Matthews with 14.

In the loss, Oakland Mills got a team-high 15 points from Jackson Bailey.

At 11-0 on the season, Wilde Lake has clinched this year’s regular season county championship. The boys county championship tournament is scheduled for next Monday, Oct. 8, at the Timbers at Troy.
