Centennial hosted Mount de Sales, Elizabeth Seton and Towson in an invitational tournament Sept. 1. After a hard-fought battle the Eagles fell to Seton, 2-1, in overtime in the first game.

Both teams had a small passing game with plenty of opportunities in each offensive circle. At the end of regulation, Centennial was awarded four penalty corners with time out. The ball crossed in front of the cage three or four times but no one was able to push it in.

The game ended quickly in overtime when Seton had an unassisted goal from Annie Metz to win. Marguerite Matta scored the Roadrunners' goal in regulation.

Stephanie Sachs scored Centennial's lone goal.
