Former Glenelg all-county basketball player Troy Spurrier
helped St. Mary’s College of Maryland capture the Capital Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon. Spurrier, a freshman for the Seahawks, scored four points and grabbed two rebounds in the championship game. At Glenelg, he finished as the school’s all-time leading scorer for boys basketball with 1,268 career points.
