An exhibit of digital photographs by John Maloney can capture your interest from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily at the Hollingsworth Gallery at the National Wildlife Visitor Center, 10901 Scarlet Tanager Loop.
The exhibition runs through August.
A lifelong resident of Maryland, Maloney started out with a Brownie Hawkeye with flash, photographing birds and animals of central Maryland and Beverly Beach.
Advancing to full digital captures, his photos were recorded in Peru, Alaska, Utah, Arizona and Florida, and close to home at Fort McHenry and Columbia's Robinson Nature Center. His images have been published and displayed by the Nature Conservancy, Massachusetts Audubon Society, Chesapeake Environmental Center and Robinson Nature Center.
