Laurel city offices will be closed and refuse and recycling will not be collected on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22 and 23, because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Refuse and recycling usually collected on Thursday and Friday will be collected on Wednesday, Nov. 21.

County offices will be closed and no refuse collections will be made in Prince George's, Howard and Anne Arundel counties on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22.
In Prince George's County, county offices and senior activity centers will remain closed on Friday, Nov. 23, but trash collections will resume on Friday. Thursday trash pickups will be on the next regularly scheduled collection day. In Howard County, county government offices, courts, the animal shelter and indoor recreation facilities will remain closed on Nov. 23, except the Meadowbrook Athletic Complex, which will be open for scheduled activities only. Howard County parks, senior center and the landfill will close on Nov. 22 and reopen on Nov. 23. No trash or recycling will be collected on Thursday, Nov. 22; the county's slide schedule will be in effect. For information go to howardcountymd.gov/holidayschedule.htm.
Howard Transit and Connect-A-Ride buses will not run on Thanksgiving Day, but will resume regular service on Friday.
