Youngsters get to practice their reading skills and some friendly dogs get a little attention at the Laurel Library's Read to Rover program. At a program in February, photographer Nate Pesce took this shot of Peppe, an Italian greyhound, listening to Ella Cooke read aloud, while Musa Malik, right, enjoys the story, too.
