It's annoying enough that the city leaders want us to believe the cameras are for the "safety of the kids." It is more like legalized robbery. The city is taking from the citizens at a time when the economy is at the worst it's been in years and often, taking from those that can least afford it. Thanks.
It's even more annoying when I drive on Cherry Lane from Route 1 towards (Route) 198. The bushes in the left lane, going across the bridge just before 198 stick out into the lane. Really? The city can't afford the small amount of money it would cost to trim the bushes? Talk about safety ... you almost have to swerve into the next lane to avoid the bushes. Annoying!
