The Laurel Department of Parks and Recreation and the Laurel Civic Improvement Committee will sponsor a Holiday Spirit Decorating Contest for residences within the city limits of Laurel.
Homeowners can nominate their own home or the home of a neighbor or friend. Deadline for nominations is 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17.
Winning homes will be identified with a sign in the yard.
