Surrounded by family and friends, Megan Elise Lawn and Lt. Christopher Aaron Petersen were united in marriage April 20, 2012, in Rose Valley, Pa.
The bride is the daughter of Maryjane Martin, of Drexel Hill, Pa., and Mitchell Lawn, of Havertown, Pa. The groom is the son of Carol and Richard Petersen, of Laurel.
A 2008 graduate of Penn State University, the bride is a structural engineer at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, in Virginia.
The groom, a graduate of the Citadel, in Charleston, S.C., is a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, working as a security manager at Training Support Center Hampton Roads at Dam Neck Naval Base, in Virginia.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple now reside in Virginia Beach, Va.
