John Dove and his girlfriend, Courtney Costantino, sit by a barn that predates the Dove family's purchase of the Woodbine farm. For years, the Doves participated in conventional farming, first in dairy, later in grain and soy crops. In 2010, Dove began growing organic vegetables on two of the 200 acres.
