SUBMIT A LETTER: Send a letter to the editor to explorehoward.


Letters should be fewer than 200 words and include the writers' name, address and day and evening telephone numbers.

The Howard County Times and Columbia Flier welcome letters from readers. All letters become the property of The Howard County Times and Columbia Flier, which reserves the right to edit each letter.

By submitting a letter, the author grants The Howard County Times and Columbia Flier an irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use and republish the letter, in whole or in part, in all media and to authorize others to reprint it. The Howard County Times and Columbia Flier do not publish anonymous letters.

Generally, we don't print "open letters" to third parties or poetry. Letters by students in school class projects will not be considered.
