Absentee ballots must be received at Stonehouse by no later than 4 p.m. on Friday April 19. But here's the problem: I haven't received mine yet (as of Monday April 15), and I've heard that I am not alone. If/when they do arrive, even if we complete them and drop them in outgoing mail immediately, they may miss the deadline.

Voting can be done in person this week, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. I just voted. So if you can't make it to the official elections on Saturday (between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.), maybe someone in your household can vote on their lunch-break? Maybe our village officers will come out with an announcement and offer other arrangements such as extended voting in the evening hours, or an extended deadline for absentee ballots?
