A broken water main in Hanover is expected to disrupt traffic for the next six hours as crews work on repairs, according to a release from the Howard County Department of Public Works.
A broken water main in the 6400 block of Anderson Avenue has affected five homes and businesses. It is expected to be repaired within six hours, but major traffic issues are expected along Anderson Avenue, Hanover Road and Mound Street.
Residents are advised to avoid the area.
