Laurel crime log: Sleeping man confronts intruders

Ashford Court, 14800 block, Oct. 20. Entry gained through front door. Two males seen inside house by owner who was awoken from sleep. Victim yelled at males, and Dell laptop computer and Coby TV were recovered from them before they fled toward Fenwick Court into woods.

Bowie Road, 14900 block, Oct. 20. Firefighter's helmet stolen from locker at Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad.

Fort Meade Road, 200 block, Oct. 20. Black four-door 2009 Hyundai Genesis with Maryland tags stolen.

Cherry Lane, 8300 block, Oct. 19. Money stolen from desk drawer in doctor's office.

Marton Street, 1000 block, Oct. 18. No signs of forced entry. Copper piping, floor tile, and washer and dryer taken.

Fourth Street, 14700 block, Oct. 16. Entry gained through open window. Fur coat, half-length fur coat, shearling fur coat, faux fur coat, suede coat, jewelry and black-light painting taken.

Baltimore Avenue, 15100 block, Oct. 15. Laurel man confronted by three males who grabbed his cell phone from hands and fled area. Police in process of identifying suspects.

Irving Street, 100 block, Oct 15. Two males seen exiting home as victims returned home. Two-piece wedding ring set, with 16 diamonds on main band, taken.

Harvest Bend Lane, 8200 block, Oct. 15. Garmin GPS system stolen from car.
