Laurel Director of Emergency Services Martin Flemion

Deputy City Administrator Martin Flemion, who is also the city's director of emergency services, applied to receive an artifact from the post-9/11 rubble at the World Trade Center in New York City. The city received a piece of a steel I-beam, which will be dedicated at a National Preparedness Month event the city is holding Sept. 8.
