Steve Craig, president of Laurel 1504 Moose Riders, presents a stuffed Tommy Moose to Pfc. Mark Schmidt, Laurel Police Department motor division. The stuffed animals are carried in patrol cars and on fire engines to provide comfort to children during stressful situations such as house fires, domestic disturbances or other traumatic events.
