St. Andrew's Episcopal Church will hold its monthly feast on Sept. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. The menu will be Italian.

The cost is $9 for adults, $30 for a family, and children 5 and younger are free.
St. Andrew's is at 2892 Route 97 in Glenwood. For more information, call 410-442-5445.
Speaking of Smokin' Hot Bar and Grille, it seems like they've got some special thing going on just about every night. I think it's important to support our local eateries; so why not try them.
This is just a reminder that the Howard High School Class of 1972 will hold its 40th reunion on Oct. 13 from 7 to 12 p.m. at Jilly's Bar and Grill in Ellicott City.
It's not too late to attend the reunion and visit with your former classmates. The price is $12 for hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
For more information or to purchase a ticket, go to firstname.lastname@example.org. Judy, who is the organizer, would really like people to respond rather than just show up at the door so that she can plan for everyone.
Jilly's is at 10030 Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City.
Howard County Executive Ken Ulman has designated September as National Preparedness Month along with the rest of the nation.
During the month, the Department of Fire and Rescue Services will offer two free programs on Hands-Only CPR and Family and Friends CPR.
The goal is to make sure families talk about being prepared for an emergency by having in place and emergency plan, an emergency kit with supplies for three days and provisions for your pets.
