I walked into what sounded like heaven. Mojo our wonder-dog was biting her squeaky toy and my son, Alex, was playing the piano.

After a stressful day at work, it was literally music to my ears. I stopped to look at the dog and she looked back, hence the squeaking stopped momentarily. She then returned to the alluring job of toy biting with a heightened level of squeaking; no doubt because she was happy to see me, but not happy enough to stop playing.

My soon-to-be 16-year old stopped playing, but only to acknowledge my arrival and then returned to playing. It was as if the two of them were trying to out-loud the other. And the coups de grâce was hubby Johnny coming to greet me in his underwear. It was a happy home filled with noise and love --- and I felt very grateful to enter it.

In years past, I would have had a glass of wine to help me find my way back to a more calming environment, but having stopped drinking alcohol, that's no longer an option. Instead, when I'm really depleted of energy and my retinas are burned out from staring at a computer screen, I know it's time to pull out the big guns. It's time to juice!

I take eight vegetables and two or three fruits and turn them into liquid by sticking them into my juicing machine. We make enough juice for the three of us to "enjoy." After 20 short minutes, I am re-energized. It was love at first taste for me and like blood to a vampire. I received my first juicer onMother's Daytwo years ago and I am so hooked that I would open a juice bar if I had my druthers. I can't find my druthers, so I'm not opening a juice bar.

John explains that drinking the juice is an "acquired taste" and I'm sure he wouldn't drink it if I wasn't leading the charge. And Alex cannot stand to drink the juice, however he will do so on occasion when prodded. I don't understand what's not to like.

Today's work day was like trekking through the Himalayas without having to leave the comfort of my office. It was the mental gyrations that pushed me over the edge. It was like climbing the Cliffs of Insanity in"The Princess Bride."

So, this evening, while I was cutting vegetables, I turned on "The Adjustment Bureau"to help me find my way back to my happy place. I only need 20 minutes of Matt Damon and Emily Blunt to get my mojo back. Not my dog Mojo, but my mojo mojo. Alex came downstairs to drink his juice (what a good boy!) and saw me fast-forwarding through the majority of the movie.

"Mom, you are fast-forwarding through the best parts."

"I saw the very beginning, a bit in the middle, and now the very end. That pretty much covers it for me," I said.

I think movie critics have the easiest jobs on the planet. Think about it. They watch movies and critique them. Who employs movie critics? Are they self-employed? Do they expense the movies? What about the popcorn? Can they expense that as well? And do they attend movie premiers? So many options, it's mind-boggling. I can't imagine that's a stressful job.

"I'm sorry boss, but I'm really stressed out from watching four movies this week. I'm freaking out that I can't write my column/blog/article by the deadline. I had to take notes during the movie and I lost them, my dog ate them, I spilled movie soda all over them."

Note-taking is probably optional. Seems like it would be feasible to just sit there and watch the movie. You either like it or you don't. There's good writing and good character development or not. The actors are either believable or they aren't.

And you could see movies at your convenience; during the day or in the evening; weekends or weekdays. In fact, if you are looking to make your first million, you could go to the movies, blog about it and voila, advertisers would pay to be on your blog site and well, you get the picture. Easy Peasy. Looking for a career-change? Look no further; I've found it for you. And don't worry that there are already hundreds of movie bloggers; there's always room for more.

If you are intrigued by my juicing obsession, but don't want to spend the time or money buying a juicer, you don't have to. There are pre-made juices, like the Naked Juice Brand. These juices are very nutritious; they are like a meal in a bottle. Geez, I sound like a commercial. Maybe I should work for the Naked juice company.

And I could combine my love of juicing with my love of writing. I could start a juice bar chain located in movie theaters. I could juice, watch movies and write that movie blog. That sounds like the ticket to me.
