My favorite holiday is here again. I'm thankful to be here to share it with you.

Troops to ensure our freedoms are something we can be thankful for. Have you seen the Tree for Our Troops at Kendall's store? All decorations are military or patriotic. The VFW came for a ceremony Nov. 19. You can learn more about the tree by contacting Ann Parlette at cwp101204@gmail.com.

I'm thankful for quality schools. Our two boys, Jay and Russell, graduated from Atholton before there was a River Hill. It's been brought to my attention that some Clarksville students still attend Atholton and don't get recognition in this column. I would be thankful if some Atholton parents or students would call or email to share their news.
