Pamela Homiak and Eric Segerson
Pamela Homiak, daughter of Albert and Nancy Homiak, of Westminster, wed Eric Segerson, son of David and Mary Segerson, who reside in Columbia. The Rev. Curtis Young officiated at the ceremony in the Church of Atonement, Silver Spring, on June 16, 2012.
Jessica Garzon Kester was chosen as maid of honor with Brian Jones as best man.
A reception was hosted in the Great Room at Savage Mill.
An alumna of Westminster High School and Duke University, the bride obtained a master's degree in public health from the University of Maryland besides a diploma from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.
She works as a labor and delivery nurse at Georgetown University Hospital.
Her husband graduated from Atholton High School and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
He employed as a Web application programmer for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Since returning from a honeymoon trip to Costa Rica, the couple is living in Columbia.
Lauren Hunter and Henry Bobotek
Andy Hunter and Melodie Hunter, both of Ellicott City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Michelle Hunter, to Cpl. Henry M. "Hank" Bobotek, son of Mark Bobotek, also of Ellicott City, and the late Loriann Wright Bobotek.
An alumna of Centennial High School, the bride-to-be will graduate in May from High Point University, North Carolina, where she will receive a Bachelor of Science in interior design with a minor in psychology.
The future groom also graduated from Centennial High School before attending Mount St. Mary's University. He serves in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed in Cherry Point, N.C.
The couple is planning a summer 2013 wedding.
